Our purpose and commitment to the community is to support an educational environment where all students thrive while promoting civic engagement for parental rights and educational transparency. We inform community members on pertinent education issues and advocate for federal, state, & local policy while monitoring common values and ethical norms observed within PUSD.
Our focus: working to ensure PUSD students meet or exceed academic expectations while staying on track to graduate with skills they will need to be career or college-ready.
Clear, open, and honest communications about district business, curriculum, policies, and decision-making processes are essential to rebuilding and maintaining trust with both parents and all taxpayers.
Parents are primary educators and advocates for their child(ren), and they have the fundamental right and responsibility to be involved in their education, be notified of any concerns about their well-being, and make decisions about appropriate support for them.
