April 23, 2025 : Secretary of Education Statements on President Trump’s Education Executive Orders
Today, U.S. Department of Education Secretary Linda McMahon released the following statements in response to President Trump’s six education-related Executive Orders to strengthen our nation’s education system and workforce.

March 31, 2025 : Dear Educators...
You have all probably heard of the Dear Colleague letter the Department of Education sent state superintendents. Then, on Thursday, March 27th, the Secretary of Education drafted a Dear Newsom letter. The following day, she sent a Dear Educators letter (link below) with an attachment from the Chief School Officers and Superintendents. According to Linda McMahon's letter, "the Department stands with parents in exercising their rights to the full extent of the law."
